2018 TRAC IMX Summer Splash Meet Recap!

2018 TRAC IMX Summer Splash Meet Recap

Swimmers of the Meet

Exploration I-Justin Starodub

Justin absolutely loves to race and show what a strong competitor he is, and he takes that motivation from practice right into meets. Justin did a great job at the TRAC meet focusing on the skills that we have been working on in practice and was legal in all of his events, including the 50 fly! Keep up the great work Justin, it's definitely paying off for you.

Exploration II-Jake Zishka

Jake has been working very hard at practice on being an active listener and leading by example while also working on improving his strokes. He did an absolutely wonderful job of knowing where he needed to be and when, in addition to that he swam really well! Jake you have worked really in practice and it hasn't gone unnoticed! Keep up the great work!

Green-Ishan Ramrakhiani

Ishan dropped time in every single one of his events. He has been working hard every practice, and has worked to improve his stroke. Congratulations, Ishan! Keep up the hard work!

Yellow-Julia Strait

Julia's hard work over the winter season combined with the short time she has been in the pool this spring is paying off.  She swam a solid SWAC meet followed by a very nice TRAC meet.  I appreciate Julia for her friendly smiles and taking the lead in the lanes when asked.  She was able to drop over 9 seconds in the TRAC meet.  These are the reason why Julia is Yellow's Swimmer of the Meet.  Great Job, Julia!

Red-Bella Smith

Bella dropped over 16 seconds and had life-time best swims in all 5 of her events.  Bella is focused on improving herself and elevating her teammates at every practice.  She is very coachable and works hard to make the changes to become more efficient in the water.  This will be Bella’s final season in the Red training group as she is entering high school and will swim with the Senior group in the fall.  Congratulations on a great meet and keep up the good work!

Blue-Addison Knoblauch

Addison was able to swim several lifetime best swims during the meet.  She has spent the spring season listening to her coaches and making the necessary changes that are needed to have success in her races.  Hopefully she can continue to gain confidence as we approach the championship season that is right around the corner.
