Swimmer of the Month
This young swimmer is always in attendance at practice with a positive attitude and a smile, awaiting the next challenge. Cathleen Li is a tremendous student and a hard worker. She has been swimming with Bernal’s Gators since she was nine years old and always leads by example. Recently Cathleen has broken a number of Gator records as well as a New England Swimming Resident record in the 11-12 Girl's 50 Butterfly with a time of 26.32. Cathleen's time places her 3rd in the country for 12 year olds in that event!
In addition to being a very dedicated swimmer she is a also a dedicated
student and pianist. Not only did Kathleen place 2nd Highpoint at the 12 & Under Championships, she also recently won the Gold-award in New York in a music festival. Cathleen is a great team player who is always supportive of her teammates and, although a very talented swimmer, she somehow maintains modesty about it all.
Congratulations Cathleen!
