The FAST Tigers capped off the 2009-2010 short course season off with a second place finish in the team standings at the 2010 Indiana Age Group Short Course State Championships. The finish was the Tigers highest ever as they scored 1,489.5 points to finish behind the team champion, Southeastern Swim Club's 1,689 points.  Carmel Swim Club finished third with 1,436.5 points. 

   

It was a fantastic weekend for the FAST Tigers as the team raced to 128 lifetime best times, two age group team high point championships, one individual age group high point champion, six individual state champions, five relay team champions and 35 team records.  The Tigers swam extremely well and battled all weekend. 

 

The FAST 10-Under Men and 13-14 Women won their respective Age Group Team High Point Championship and Erin Moe won five individual events as she claimed the 13-14 Women's Individual High Point award.  Ben McAteer (10-Under Men) added a state  championship as he stroked to a win in the 100 Backstroke.

 

State Champion relays for the FAST Tigers included, the 13-14 Women's 400 Medley Relay (Erin Moe, Alex Clarke, Mikaela Hickey and Katie Lemen), the 10-Under Men's 200 Medley Relay (Ben McAteer, AJ Waltermann, Joe Moser and Jacob Stopkotte), the 13-14 Women's 200 Freestyle Relay (Erin Moe, Emily Moser, Alex Clarke and Katie Lemen), the 10-Under Men's 200 Freestyle Relay (Ben McAteer, AJ Waltermann, Joe Moser, and Jacob Stopkotte) and the 13-14 Women's 400 Freestyle Relay (Erin Moe, Alex Clarke, Mikaela Hickey and Katie Lemen).

 

FAST Tigers that broke individual team records included, Sydney Ruggles (9-10 Women), Molly Ruggles (9-10 Women), Abbey Schneider (11-12 Women), Erin Moe (13-14 Women), Ben McAteer (9-10 Men), Jacob Stopkotte (9-10 Men), Noah Stopkotte (11-12 Men) and Matthew Carr (11-12 Men).

 

FAST Tigers relay teams that broke records included, 10-Under Women's 200 Medley Relay (Carissa Schneider, Sydney Ruggles, Molly Ruggles and Ally Sperring), 11-12 Women's 200 Medley Relay (Maggie Jahns, Abbey Schneider, Lizzy Pfeifer and Lauryn Parrish), 13-14 Women's 200 Freestyle Relay (Erin Moe, Emily Moser, Alex Clarke and Katie Lemen), 13-14 Women's 400 Freestyle Relay (Erin Moe, Alex Clarke, Mikaela Hickey and Katie Lemen), 13-14 Women's 200 Medley Relay (Bailie Pelletier, Alex Clarke, Erin Moe and Katie Lemen), 13-14 Women's 400 Medley Relay (Erin Moe, Alex Clarke, Mikaela Hickey and Katie Lemen), 10-Under Men's 200 Freestyle Relay (Ben McAteer, AJ Waltermann, Joe Moser and Jacob Stopkotte), 11-12 Men's 200 Freestyle Relay (Matthew Carr, Noah Stopkotte, Shinya Wai and Luke Ingram) and 11-12 Men's 200 Medley Relay (Noah Stopkotte, Luke Ingram, Matthew Carr and Shinya Wai).
