An Important Message on Staying Healthy from your Coaches!

SWIMMERS - As the weather turns cooler, please be sure to dress appropriately before and after practice!  This includes changing out of your wet bathing suit after practice (before going home), and wearing warm pants, socks & shoes, a hat, and a jacket or sweatshirt to & from practice! 

Also be sure to drink plenty of fluids throughout the day and eat a healthy balanced diet throughout the season, especially before & during meets.  The swim season is in full swing  - we want all our swimmers to be strong and healthy for school, practices and competitions!

At meets, it is also very important to wear something on your head and feet, a shirt or sweatshirt/jacket, and pants to keep your body warm before, during and after the meet! Also drink fluids and eat healthy snacks before and during the meet to stay hydrated (being IN the water doesn’t count) and keep your energy level up so you are ready to have fun and swim your best in all your events!
