To all AAC Parents:
I am writing to help clarify a frequently asked question.
The question is- "I paid x amount when we registered for the
team but I don’t see that payment reflected on my account
balance".
The long answer to this is: The Arlington Aquatic Club is
sponsored by Arlington County but is governed and run by the AAC
Boosters. This means that all of your program fees (the
amount that you will pay for the program spanning over the swim
season) will be paid to Treasurer, Arlington
County. The Registration fee (the amount that you
pay up front) goes to the AAC Boosters. The
Registration fee goes towards paying for all swimmers USA Swimming
registrations, a t-shirt, a cap, and meet entry fees for all
Competition groups.
With this being said, the only fees that you will see on the
website will be your Program fees, not the Registration fee.
Now, just a note on how the billing will work. When you go
to the website you will see
what you owe for each month. In case you are trying to do the
math...our billing break down is: the total amount due divided by
8. We are a 9 month program but our billing cycle is 8 months
(October through May) for all the Competition groups and it is
broken down by session for all the Pre-Competition groups.
I will be e-mailing all the invoices out at the end of
each month. Payments, for now, need to be sent to: AAC
3700 S. Four Mile Run Dr. Arlington, VA 22206. Payments
need to be received no later than the 15th of each
month. Please remember to make your monthly
payments out to Treasurer, Arlington County.
Thank you for reading this and I hope I helped clarify this
issue.
