Seven Pirates journeyed to the cold and wet climate of Portland
Oregon for the team's first travel meet. Local team and meet
officials were very gracious and welcoming to us, and the team
garnered eighth place in the team standings despite its small
contingent. We also took advantage of a break in the weather
to shop among the local crafts at the "Saturday Market".
