Pacifica Sea Lions Swim Great during first Long Course Meet of the Season

             The Pacifica Sea Lions swam great at the first long course meet of the season held April 8th & (th at Indian Valley College in Novato.  The meet was co-hosted by the Marin Pirates and the Sebastapol Sea Serpents.  The weather was omininous with intermittent rain, but our swimmers took to task and performed well after a 6 month break from long course.  Long course swimming consists of 50 meter laps versus the short course lap of 25 yards.

 

            The following swimmers attained new ?B? times

             We are looking forward to the LAMV swim meet May 19-21 in Los Altos.  We are also looking forward to the BAC meet to be held on June 24th & 25th at Burlingame High School.  Please come by and cheer on your local swimmers admission is free.

            The Pacifica Sea Lions are always looking for new swimmers.  The team holds a free 5-day trial to all interested swimmers ages 5-18 on the last five weekdays of every month from 5:15 to 6:15 pm at Oceana pool.  Anyone interested in joining the team or even exploring the opportunity to join the team is invited.
