The Canby Gators
hosted the 6th Annual Canby Valentine Invitational
February 15th at the Canby Swim Center. The Meet
hosted about 180 swimmers from Oregon and southwest Washington. It
was a last-chance opportunity for swimmers to earn state qualifying
times.
State qualifiers for the Canby Gators were: Madeline
Meredith in the 25 free, Noah Norris in the 200 IM, 100 fly and the
100 IM and Veronica Norris in the 50 and 100 back and Krissy
Peterson in the 100
fly.

earning all best times were: Charmaine Bigham, Carolyn Guttery,
Marissa Marr, Amanda Moses, Austin Moses, Cayden Nelson, Noah
Norris, Veronica Norris, Alex Olsen, Chloe Petty, Eliza Swackhamer,
Jessi Thompson, Callie Weber, Jamie Yager, Trevor McGuigan, Riley
McGuigan and Dane Yu. Halley Becker and Madeline Benson earned best
times in two of their three events.
Earning points individually were: Nolan Bauermeister, Ross
Brown, Carolyn Guttery, Leah Halderman, Michael Haring, Alex
Hendrick, Samantha Ingle, Alisha Issa, Carrie Kralovec, Leif
