USA Swimming has made some changes that will take place on May
1, 2009 regarding diving in shallow water. They consider
anything shallower than 6’ of water to be shallow
water. So to help prevent injury to swimmers they are
requiring all swimmers to be certified in shallow diving. To
adhere to the USA Swimming guidelines we will be conducting the
required certifications over the next couple of weeks.
