Pirates Chosen for USA Swimming Clinic with Bob Steele

Bob Steele Clinic  

 The Marin Pirates were chosen by U SA Swimming to receive a clinic that was conducted Monday through Thursday, April 20-23. The clinic is part of USA Swimming’s Master Coach/Consulting Program. The program was for both senior and age-group swimmers. We were chosen based on our fine showing at December’s Senior National Championship in Atlanta and Junior Nationals in Orlando. The clinic was run by Coach Bob Steele who, following retirement after 46 years of coaching, has conducted these Elite Development-Team Camps for 88 team across the United States. This was an extremely rare opportunity for our team and I am grateful to USA Swimming and Bob for choosing us to impart his vast knowledge to.
