Staying in accordance with Soldotna Silver
Salmon By-Laws, the Board Position of President is now up for
election.
The SSS Board of Directors will be
accepting nominations till June 5th, 2009
and a vote for the President will be through to June
12th. If you are interested in becoming
President of Soldotna Silver Salmon or would like to nominate
someone to this position, please use the contact icon on the team
website.
Nominees will be listed on the website
after the 5th.

DUTIES OF PRESIDENT
– presiding officer, appointing committees, and general
supervision of club activities. The president shall preside over
all meetings of the club and the Executive board and be the
official club representative for all USA Swimming and Alaska
Swimming business.
ARTICLE 8 – OFFICERS AND
COMMITTEES
A. The elective officers of this club shall be
president, vice-president/president elect**,secretary, treasurer,
and registration chair**. They shall be elected annually by
ballot for a one year term. No two offices may be held by the
same person. Any parent member shall be eligible for the election.
The parent or guardians of an active participating
member is entitled to one vote in affairs
of the club at a general parents’ meetings, providing
all training fees and dues are
current.
