Parent Volunteers needed for 2009-2010 Swim Season

Calling all Parents.

The 2009-2010 season planning has already begun and we have some very critical volunteer positions within the organization that need to be filled.

We all know what a tremendous job our coaches do day-in and day-out to make sure our kids have the best swim instruction, motivation and nurturing possible. But that’s only half the job of running this Club. Without parent volunteers, our meets wouldn’t run, our fundraisers wouldn’t happen and our Club would flounder. For the 2009-2010 season we have openings in the following positions that need to be filled.

**Board of Directors. (positions will be voted on at our June Parents Meeting)
We have two openings on the Board of Directors as Associate Directors.

**Head Timer(s)
We will need one or two parents to brief the timers at every meet, and stand watch during the events to ensure all stop watches have backups.

**Concessions
Deb Hirata will have this position next year but we need to get someone in her hip pocket to learn the ropes as that will be her last year.

**Meet Director
Todd Nelson will have this position next year, but next year will be his last year and we need someone to shadow.

**Volunteer Coordinator
Helping herd the volunteers on Meet day in the right direction.

**Fundraising Coordinator
This position will be critical next year as we may be branching off in fundraising to help keep Olympic Pool open.

**Sponsorship Coordinator.
Contacting all the current sponsors and possibly looking for new sponsors.
