Four CCA swimmers,
Adam Jorgensen representing Roseville High School, Katie Stover
representing Rocklin High School, Brian Westlake representing
Woodcreek High School, and Jillian Garton representing Granite Bay
High School swam times that qualify them to be named or be
considered to be named All-Americans. That recognition is
given to the swimmers posting the fastest 130 swims in the nation
this year. Adam’s times in the 200 Free and 100 Fly were
fast enough to qualify him as an automatic All-American.
Katie’s time in the 100 Free was an automatic qualifyer and
her time in the 50 Free was a consideration
time. Brian’s times in the 200IM and 500 Free were
both consideration times, as was Jillian’s time in the 200
Free.
Additionally, two other swimmers
were part of relays that were honored with All- American
status. Kevin Miller representing Granite Bay High School was
a member of the 200 FR & 400 FR both of which swam automatic
All-American times. Alexis Melnikov & Katie Stover were
members of the Rocklin High School 200 FR which swam an
All-American consideration time.
