PEAK Achieves USA Swimming Club Recognition Program Level 2 Status

PEAK has achieved Level 2 status in USA Swimming’s Club Recognition Program.

The USA Swimming Club Recognition Program is designed to acknowledge USA Swimming clubs that have developed strong, stable, financially sound and athletically productive organizations.

The program consists of four levels of achievement across four component areas deemed critical to long-term club success. The program encourages clubs to establish organizational goals and to benchmark their progress toward those goals. The ultimate objective of the program is to strengthen the club system in USA Swimming by guiding clubs through a development process that ultimately positions the program and its coaches to better serve athletes.

The program is based on key components USA Swimming has determined to help create "great" clubs. The four major component areas are:

  1. Business & Organizational Success
  2. Parent & Volunteer Development
  3. Coach Development & Education
  4. Athlete Development & Performance

These component areas, along with the markers in each area, were further subdivided into four different levels of achievement from Level 1 to Level 4 (Level 4 being the highest).

For a “youngý team like PEAK to have achieved Level 2 already is a major accomplishment which can be credited to the hard work done by our coaches, current and past PEAK boards, and our swimmers.  A special thank you to Coach John for his hard work in putting together all the documentation and completing the forms USA Swimming requires for recognition.
