Teammates:
Our "Bring a Friend Thursdays" in May was an overwhelming
and fun success. Many of you wanted to keep doing that.
I know that inviting a friend to just any old practice can be
intimidating and scary for the friend.
We have decided to host "Bring a Friend Thursday" on the
second Thursday of each month (with a few exceptions).
The dates for the summer will be as follows:
This Thursday, 6/11/09 will be our June date (note this is
also the date of the June Board meeting).
Thursday, 7/9/09 will be our July date (this is right
before the 10 & Under Champs that we host at our pool, and our
fun meet planned for that Sunday afternoon)
Thursday, 8/6/09 will be our August date (this is also our
last practice of the season as families will be traveling to Coos
Bay on Friday for the Big Kahuna meet).
We are planning this event for short course season as
well. Our plan will be to have "Bring a Friend Thursdays" on
all Thursdays in September (like we did in May), then follow up on
the second Thursday in each following month.
We hope you, and your friends, continue to find AAA a fun,
challenging, learning environment.
