Sharks of the Week—Week of June
1
TC Sharks coaches have named Kristy Mercado
(9-10s) and Nicholas Jacquin (7-8s) as last
week’s Sharks of the Week. Kristy is new to the team this
year, but you wouldn’t know it. “She’s a real
go-getter and seems to love being a Shark,” says Coach Paul.
“Her hard work and dedication are paying off with super
results at the meets.”
The coaches noticed that Nicholas is very attentive during practice
and focused on having a good workout. “Nicholas gets to
practice on time, gets right in the front of the line and swims his
hardest during practice,” Coach Suzanne says.
“He’s a great role model for the other boys in his age
group.”
