Greetings from Phoenix

 
On Wedenesday, Jamie and several of the 12 & over swimmers flew to Phoenix, AZ for a meet at the Brophy East Swim Club (www.bestswimclub.org).  They arrived Wednesday afternoon, checked in to the hotel, and went back to the pool for a little swimming (at what was 10:00 pm Charlotte time).  The pool is fabulous, the hotel super, and the folks from BEST could not be nicer - they’ve shared tents, brought them granlola bars - a great experience.  On Thursday morning, they got up early (no problem with the 3 hour time change) and piled into the van for a trip to Sedona, AZ, taking in the fabulous red rock scenery, some shops, and of course, some food - a great time was had by all.  They arrived back in Phoenix to swim the 1500 Thursday night, with great swims all around.  Friday morning brought the first round of prelims, with several making it back to finals that night.  More updates to come!  Pictures courtesy of your coach!
