Hello
Sailfish Parents,
It has
been brought to our attention by the Management Office that during
swim-team practice there are some activities occurring that are not
in our best interests and are actually quite
dangerous.
Firstly, there are siblings of swim-team members
that have been getting in the pool during practice. This is
DEFINITELY not permissible as there are no guards on duty outside
of regular operating hours, i.e., 11am-8pm.
Secondly, on a daily basis, there are unsupervised
children playing in the mulch beds and/or throwing the rocks by the
air conditioner. The main concern is that a child will be hit
and injured. A secondary concern is that the air conditioning
unit will be damaged and the swim team will be liable for any
repairs necessary. In addition, the mulch, plants/tree, rocks
and benches are ornamental and the constant activity in this area
is beginning to take its toll.
Also,
children have been wandering up to the clubhouse, unsupervised, to
run and play on the deck.
PLEASE
watch your children at all times! All non-swimmers are
required to stay in the EATING AREA during practice. Their
safety is our main concern. If a child persists in activity
that is deemed dangerous, your family may be asked to leave the
premises immediately.
Thank
you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.
