12 & Under's Finish In 3rd Place At State

12-Under State Meet Results and Thank You’s

Congratulations to all 45 swimmers, parents and fans for our tremendous showing at the 12-Under State Championship meet.  We finished in 3rd place staying very close to the top two team - BAC and SWAT. 

Swimmers - Our swimmers did very well with many best times, new state and zone C cuts, and several team records.  Many of our swimmers and relays made the awards stand!  It was a great TEAM effort as you can see with the age group results: 10-Under Boys - 1st Place (Congratulations Boys!!!), 10-Under-Girls - 3rd Place, 11-12 Girls - 3rd Place, 11-12 Boys - 3rd Place!  What a great meet! More importantly, the kids had a great time thoughout all 2 1/2 days!

Parents - What a show of team spirit you displayed all weekend!  Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!  Our "Positive Phoenix Parent" section was extremely impressive!  Your support, cheering, enthusiasm, team spirit and energy was second to none and the best for LAKE in quite some time.  Many coaches commented and complimented you on your fantastic support of our team. You were the envy to many coaches and parents from other teams!  Thank you for the lunches between session, the tent, the beverages, the rally towels, the sea of maroon and gold, the interaction with the kids on cheers and being loud on ALL of our races and award presentations! Thank you again for making the state meet fun and enthusiastic! Thank you to the LAKE parents who officiated the meet and did a wonderful job!

Coaches - Thank you for all you did all season long to get the most kids to the state meet and then have them perform so well there!  Thank you for the P-H-O-E-N-I-X parents sign and achievement recognition board Coach Whitney.  Thank you for being our staff photographer and donating the beads and drinks for the kids Coach Ruth Ann.  Coach Ted, thank you for your cheering, words of encouragement and assistance in motivating the kids all weekend long!
