Junior Olympics-Day 4

Final Day of Junior Olympics was amazing.  Fast swimming and more fast swimming.  Starting the day off by learning that we were really 75 points behind Sierra Marlins, we had a huge gap to overcome and we almost did it.  The Aquadarts finished the meet with 1296.5 points.  The Marlins finished with 1334 points, just 37.5 points separating the two teams.  CCA finished 3^rd with 1213.5 points.  WAY TO GO AQUADARTS!!! 

Numerous Aquadarts were recognized for their individual point totals.  For the 9-10s, Chenoa Devine finished 2^nd for the girls and Tucker Fisk won the high point trophy by one point.  Riley Hickman won the 11-12 Boys High Point Award.  In the 13-14 Girls category, Alex Rieger placed 5^th and Tara Halsted placed 1^st.  The 15-16 girls and boys combined for 4 of 6 trophies (1^st-3^rd place).  Hannah Krovetz was recognized for 5^th place, Rachel Johnson earned 2^nd and Beverly Nguyen placed 1^st with a perfect 9 first place finishes.  On the boys side, Trevor Halsted placed 2^nd  and Kyle Nadler tied for 1^st.

I missed publishing the results for several events from yesterday that were swum in the morning only.  Sorry 8-Unders and 10-Unders.

The 15-18s swam the 800 Free Relay today.  The girls placed 1^st and 6^th and the boys placed 4^th.  Then everyone swam the 200 Free Relays.  The 10-Un Girls placed 6^th and the 10-Un Boys placed 4^th.  The 11-12 Girls finished 6^th and the Boys finished 3^rd.  The 13-14 Girls swam to a 3^rd finish.  The 15-18 Girls returned to the pool with a 1^st and 4^th finish and the boys finished 2^nd.  The four boys on the 15-18 relay were all in the 15-16 age group and broke a 23 year old record by 6 seconds.
