(Santa Maria, CA) - The SMSC age
group teams depart today and tomorrow for major age group
championships around the state. One group of athletes leaves
today for the Far Western Age Group Championships, a collection of
the best age group swimmers in California-Nevada-Oregon-Arizona and
Washington, with teams from Canada and Mexico also in
attendance.
The second team departs for Fresno
tomorrow for the Central California Junior Olympics.
SMSC typically places in the Top 5 as a team at this
meet.
