The Academy Bullets had a very succesful showing at the 2009 LC Speedo Champions Series at the University of Minnesota.  With 34 swimmers making the trip, the Bullets were one of the largest clubs in attendance at what was argueably the fastest (and longest) sectional meet in the country.  In difficult conditions due to the size of the meet, the team had an outstanding showing.  Many times Bullet swimmers were way out in front and setting the pace of their heats.  We had nearly 90% best times with most swimmers having huge drops from their previous personal bests.  The Bullets finished 4th place overall as a team behind the University of Minnesota, Wildcat Aquatics, and Aquajets.  The women’s team finished in third place.  Olivia Scott became sectional champion in the 100 Fly and 200 IM.
