Aug 7: Highlights from the 2009 Western Zone Championships:

Sheila Stocks (1st) and Sharon Rooker (2nd) finish top two in the 15-16 100 Fly.

Sheila Stocks finishes 2nd in the 15-16 200 Free.

Kathleen McCarroll finishes 1st in the 13-14 200 Fly.

Sheila Stocks finishes 1st in the 15-16 200 Fly and 3rd in the 15-16 400 Free.

Oregon’s girls 13-14 200 Medley Relay team, with Kathleen McCarroll as the lead-off swimmer, sets a new Western Zone record of 2:03.36, beating the previous 2002 record by over one second.
