Evan Virtue had an outstanding meet at the 2009 U.S. Open held Aug. 4-8 at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash.  Evan posted a new Olympic Trial cut in his 1500 Free with a time of 15:37.71.  That swim placed him 11th overall in the competition and set a new Sierra Nevada Swimming record for the event.  In addition, he posted best times in his 100 Fly and 800 Free, in which he placed 12th.  Congratulations on an outstanding US Open Meet!!
