Michelle Fischer had some excellent swims at the CanAm Paralympic Championships held July 30 - Aug 1 at the Kinsmen Aquatic Center in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.  Michelle placed 1st in the 200 Back and 800 Free, 2nd in the 50 Free, 3rd in the 200 Free and 400 Free, and 4th in the 100 Free and 100 Back.  Her performaces at this meet qualified Michelle to be selected as a member of the USA Para Pan Junior Team which will compete at the 2009 Youth Para Pan American Games in Bogota, Columbia Oct 15-25, 2009.  At those games, Michelle will be competing in the 50 Free, 100 Free, 400 Free, and 100 Back.  Congratulations Michelle!!
