This morning Coaches Brian Benfer, Clayton Fritts,
and Jessica Brampton departed for the American Swim Coaches
Association's World Clinic held in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Over the
course of the long weekend the coaches will attend 21 hours of
classes covering all areas of competitive swimming from the
development of our age group athletes, to the training of national
athletes, and club management and leadership. The best minds
in swimming will come together to discuss the latest advances in
the sport, swimming training, and the future of competitive
swimming.
The ASCA Clinic brings together the top coaches from
around the world just once per year for this special event. A very
special thanks to all the swimmers and families who participated in
the May 2009 Swim-A-Thon. Funds from that event were the primary
source of funding for travel to the World Clinic.
