The Aquatic Center in Federal Way
sometimes closes for various other activities or King County
furlough days. Sometimes there will be NO practice when the
pool is closed or practice may be at a different location. (please
check back as there may be changes as we get closer, regarding
alternative locations.)
Please note the closures
below:
- Monday, October 12th: King County furlough
day, bronze may practice at the Community Center from 4:30-5:30
PM. There is no other practice that
day.
- Friday, October 30th: Annual Haunted
Pool. There is no practice for any group that
day.
- Thursday, November 12th and Friday,
November 13th: high school girls state swim meet, practice will be
at Puyallup from 4:30-6PM for silver and above and the bronze will
be at the Community Center from 4:45-5:45 on thursday
only.
- Wednesday, November 25th: King County
furlough day, practice TBA.
- Thursday, and Friday, November 26th and
27th: Thanksgiving, see newsletter for revised practice schedule
during this time.
- Wednesday, December 2nd-Friday, December
4th: Short Course Nationals. Practices for silver and above
at KCAC from 4:30-6 and on Thursday for bronze swimmers at
Community Center from 4:45-5:45.
- Friday, December 11th: 14 & under PNS
Champs: practice at Puyallup from 4:30-6 PM.
- Thursday, December 17th and Friday,
December 18th - Washington State Senior Champs: bronze
at Community Center from 4:45-5:45 on Thursday, silver and above at
Puyallup from 4:30-6PM, no practice for all groups on
Friday.
The winter break schedule will be
announced at the beginning of
December.
