Pine
Crest vs. Lake Highland / Lake Brantley Invitational
Results
Pine Crest went to Orlando this past
weekend and defeated Lake Highland Prep in a dual meet and then
raced in the Lake Brantley Invitational against the top teams in
the state. The Panthers finished 2nd to Bolles in the Lake Brantley
Invitational.
Lake Highland Prep has some
outstanding swimmers but did not have the depth for the dual meet
as Pine Crest increased their dual record to 3-0 for both the boys
and girls. However, the power that Lake Highland Prep has will make
it a very strong team at the State Championships.
Siena DeVenuto and Thomas Veale led
the girls and boys team at the Lake Brantley meet, as Siena won the
200 and 500 free in times that will be the fastest at this time in
Broward and Thomas won the 500 free, while placing 5th in the 200
free.
