The CCS Fall Series I meet was a huge
success. Sarasota YMCA Sharks and Swim Florida
attended the meet. CCS accumalated 68 life time personal
bests, several Junior Olympics, Senior Champs, and Sectional cuts
were made. Beverly Jackson had the largest
time drop, a reduction of 25 seconds in the 100 IM. Several
swimmers had all personal bests: Danny Douglas, Kenny
Hacker, Josh Mendieta, Sydney Ortiz, Hans Schroeder, Liesel
Schroeder, John Spoonts, and Ashley Wik. Swimmers
who won events were: Addison Cates, Caleb Coldiron, Danny
Douglas, Kelsey Frantz, Alara Guvenli, Dylan Hacker, Austin
Massolio, Josh Mendieta, and Hans Schroeder. Sydney
Ortiz made new Junior Olympic cuts in the 100 fly and 100
breast. She also made a new sectional cut in the 100
free. Addison Cates made a new senior champ
cut and sectional cut in the 100 breaststroke. Caleb
Coldiron made new senior champ cuts in the 100 and 200
freestyles. Danny Douglas made a new senior
champ and sectional cut in the 100 breaststroke.
