2008-2009 Missouri Valley All-Academic Team

The following swimmers were named to the 2008-2009 Missouri Valley All-Academic team.  In order to be eligible swimmers must:

  • must have completed 9th Grade or higher;
  • must be a USA Swimming athlete member;
  • must have participated in an individual event in one of the MVS Championship meets (Level 1/2 or Division I/II Championships) or higher, such as Region VIII, Central Zones, Junior Championships, National Championships, US Open, Olympic Trials, or the Olympics;
  • must have participated in 3 additional USA Swimming sanctioned meets;
  • must have a minimum 3.2 grade point average on a 4.0 scale;
  • must submit an Official Transcript or Report Card for the entire academic year;
  • must submit the All-Academic Team application form.

 The following swimmers have been selected for this year’s team:

  • Erin Bolling- St. Pius X H.S.- 4.0 or higher!!!!
  • Regan Branchick- Park Hill South H.S.
  • Weston Branchick- Park Hill South H.S.- 4.0 or higher!!!!
  • Tyler Crowe- Park Hill H.S.
  • Daniel Day- Park Hill South H.S.
  • Jamie Jenkinson- Liberty H.S.
  • Matt Johnson- Park Hill H.S.-  4.0 or higher!!!!
  • Bryce Kober- Park Hill H.S.
  • Grant Libra- Park Hill South H.S.-  4.0 or higher!!!!
  • Shannon Myer- St. Joseph Central H.S.-  4.0 or higher!!!!
  • Alyssa Powers- Staley H.S.-  4.0 or higher!!!!
  • Stephen Ross- Winnetonka H.S.-  4.0 or higher!!!!
  • Matt Zieger- St. Joseph Central H.S.-  4.0 or higher!!!

Make sure to congratulate all of these swimmers on a job well done.  This is a tremendous accomplishment for these champions in and out of the pool.
