17 yr old Jeremy Bagshaw
(Junior) and 15 yr old Alec Page (youth) have been
named to the Swimming Canada 2010 Junior & Youth Australian
Tour Team. The teams will travel together to Australia on
December 27 where they will spend nearly 3 weeks training and
competing in the NSW and Victoria State Championships in Sydney and
Melbourne. They are scheduled to return to Victoria, BC on
January 15th, 2010.
Athletes were selected based on having the top
Fina point scores from the Senior National Championships (A&B
finals) and the Age Group National Championships (finals
only).
In addition, 2 Island Swimming Coaches were
selected to the team. Coach Aaron Dahl
will be joining the team as the Men’s Youth
Coach. Neil Harvey declined the
position of Men’s Junior Coach.

Alec. Your hard work and dedication to your
sport make you very deserving of this incredible
opportunity.
