Last weekend 2 different CAST related families lost loved ones:

On Saturday Charlotte Morris passed away.She is the mother of 16 year old Alyssa Morris, who started swimming with CAST in Dave's level 5  just 3 weeks ago. Some of you may know Charlotte because she had worked in the LSC office (where you get your USA swim card) for a  few years up until 2007 (I think).

Memorial service for Charlotte will be on Friday , October 2, 2009 at 1:30pm at Palisades Presbyterian Church, 6301 Birchwood St , San Diego.

On Sunday, Gerry Seifert, father of former swimmers Andrew and Heidi, passed away. Heidi stopped swimming 3 or 4 years ago when she graduated, and Andrew stopped approximately one year ago. Both had swum with the team from the time they were in elementary school through high school.

Memorial service for Gerry: Saturday, October 3  at 11 a.m New Life Presbyterian Church, 5333 Lake Murray Blvd.
