Ellis Miller Named to USA Swimming Scholastic All-America Team

For the second year in a row, RAC AquaHawg swimmer Ellis Miller has been named to USA Swimming’s Scholastic All-America Team.  Miller, a senior at Siloam Springs High School, is one of only three swimmers from Arkansas to be named to this year’s team and is the only one from the state to have earned this honor more than once. The 2008-09 Scholastic All-America Team is composed of 905 women and 595 men from across the country.  To be eligible for the team, a swimmer must be a 10th-12th grade USA Swimming member with a 3.5 GPA or better.  He or she must also have achieved a Junior National Bonus Time Standard or swim in a selected disability championship meet or the Open Water National Championships. The program begins each July 1st and continues through June 30th of the following year.
