USA Swimming has voted to
ban high-tech swimsuits effective on October 1, 2009. FINA is
imposing the ban worldwide on January 1, 2010 but USA Swimming
voted for an earlier implementation. FINA has not
finalized the list of allowable suits but there is a partial list
available. The link below to the USA Swimming website
explains the ruling and then provides a link to the FINA list
of allowable swimsuits.
