Each year USA Swimming comes out with its Scholastic All-American
list. This year CSP had 4 swimmers on that list for the 2008-2009
school year. Daniel Miller, Nate Weiss, Charles Du and Joyce Du
were on the list. To make the list a swimmer has to be a sophmore,
junior, or senior in high school and have a grade point average of
3.5 or better. In addition each athlete must meet one the time
standards in an individual event. Daniel, Charles, and Joyce will
receive a special award from USA Swimming, which is given to
athletes that appear on the list for the maximum of 3 straight
years. This was Nate's first chance to be on the list since he just
completed his sophmore year of high school. Congratulations to all
4 athletes on achieving such a fine honor.
