4 Swimmers Earn Academic Honors

USA Swimming released the list of 2008-2009 Scholastic All-Americans.  Golden West Swim Club placed four scholar athletes on the team.  Kelsey Cummings, Cynthia Fascella, Alli Gillespie and Josh Roe were all honored for their exceptional performance in the pool and classroom. 

To be eligible for the team swimmers must be in the 10^th-12^th grade and maintain at least a 3.5 GPA.  In addition to their academic performance they must achieve a Junior National Bonus time standard.  This year more than 1500 swimmers were named to the list.
