- Practice Schedule Changes
(Friday) – Due to the movie night this week there are a
couple of practice schedule changes.
- Red/Blue – Friday
practice @ Civic (4:30pm – 5:30pm)
- Bronze/ Silver –
Friday practice @ Civic (4:15pm – 5:30pm)
- Silver/Gold/Senior/Varsity
– Friday practice @ Community (4pm – 5:30pm)
- Note – Silver group
swimmers have the option to attend the movie at Community or Civic.
They have two practice options depending on the movie they would
like to attend.
- Rainy Weather – There
always seem to be questions regarding swim practice and the rain.
- Rain Policy - Here is our
rain policy, “We will practice in the rain as long as you can
see the bottom of the pool. If the rain becomes so heavy that
we can’t safely see the bottom of the pool then we will
cancel workout until the rain slows up a bit”. These
situations rarely occurs so plan on attending workouts in the
rain. Less people attend when it is raining so you will get
more attention from your coach.
- Weather Policy – Any
visual sign of lighting (or any weather that threatens safety) and
we will cancel workout for a 30 minute period. We will resume
workout 30 minutes after the last lightning strike. This also
doesn’t happen very often in this area but we want everyone
to know that safety is the number one concern.
