Shannon, one of our Tornadoes swimmers
was named SI Sports Kids of the month, for October. Below is
the excerpt listed in her bio.
"In August Shannon won
the Northwest National Open Junior Lightning championship of the
National Hot Rod Association. The youngest racer in her division,
she defeated a field of 40 boys and girls ages 13 to 18. Shannon is
also an avid swimmer and competed in the Oregon state long and
short course championships."
