Clemson Classic Info from Riley Stevens:
The Clemson Classic is Coming Soon – November 13-15!  Those of you who have been to a few of our meets know that it is no small feat for a team of our size to host a huge three day meet.  We are easing into the season with the Classic, with one session per day.  The next meet (in January) will be 5 sessions, and the Palmetto State Championship meet in March will be a 4-day 12-session epic (shared with Anderson Swim Club).  All of the board members have taken responsibility for various aspects of the preliminary long term planning work, bidding and scheduling, getting contracts, permits, catering authorizations, LSC sanctions etc.  And we will be there beside you for every session of every meet.  Trust me, it isn’t because we love the smell of chlorine in the morning.

CAT has been hosting meets for over 20 years, and we have a reputation for putting on spectacularly successful events (even when we had 8 families and no janitors).  That is the result of hard work at each session by every family.  We do it to support our kids and show them how much we care about what they are doing. They need that kind of support at every meet.

The kids don’t often rush home to say thank you, but they know you’re there.  They see us at concessions, selling shirts, hauling boxes, timing, officiating and cleaning.  Coaches, officials and the parents in the stands rave about our venue and can’t believe we are a small private team.  It takes everyone committing their weekend to the success of the meet and the enjoyment of our guests and our swimmers.  So please, take a moment to sign up for a job at the meet.  Come to the pool early to help with set up and help visitors find their way around.  Stick around a few minutes after the meet to help straighten up, and keep an eye out during the meet for things we need to take care of.  It’s your team and your meet, and if we all do a little more than expected you will be proud of the results.  Boom or bust, it’s a hard weekend, so we might as well make it one that makes us proud.  Thanks for your help – I’ll see you there.  Riley Stevens

Clemson Classic Job sign-up:
Job sign-up for the Clemson Classic Meet (November 13-15) is available on the CAT website.  Questions about which job is right for you?  See the CAT Handbook for job descriptions.

Money Matters:
Invoices were e-mailed to those who owe money.  Credit cards and ACH charges were processed on Oct. 1. If you have an outstanding balance, leave your payment in the folder at the pool marked "Monthly Fees."   A late fee will be added if payment isn't received by Oct. 20.  To view your account history, log in to www.clemsonaquaticteam.org. If you have questions, contact Gina McCarty at ginasmc@bellsouth.net or 864-885-1023.

Website Info:
If you haven't already done so, please log in to the team website and update all of your information  - account and member. Many families have incomplete info (for example - no shirt size) and, unfortunately, it's usually too late, not to mention, time consuming, to call each person individually when the information is needed.

UnitedScrip:
UnitedScrip order form can be found on the website under “Documents” and, also, at the pool.  To place your order, leave your order form and payment in the folder (in the CAT filing cabinet) at the pool marked "Scrip Orders" by 7pm each Tues. Your order will be ready by 7pm each Thurs.  If you need to make a special order, please allow a few extra days. Contact Gina McCarty with any questions.

BiLo & Ingles gift cards are available in $25, $50, $100, & $200 amounts.  These are kept "on hand" and do not need to be ordered with UnitedScrip.  Contact Gina McCarty to arrange pickup.
