This past weekend Southeastern Swim Club kicked the season off to a great start at its own SwimFest Invite!

• Individual Champions from SSC include: Julie Kaess, Charlotte Ahls, Rick Kelley, Jake Childress, Justin Rossillo, Carly Mercer, Aubrey Hertzler, Natalie Mudd, Hannah Booth, Drew Kibler, Jack Vandeberg, & Joe Young.
• NEW TEAM RECORDs! Congrats to Joe Young who broke the 11-12 Boys 1650 Free record with a new time 18:58.88. The previous record was held by Thomas Cross from 2007. Joe also broke the team record in the 11-12 boys 1000 free at the Kickoff Super Splash. Also, Julie Kaess broke the 9-10 girls 200IM time with a 2:31.23, formerly held by Margo McAuley in 1999.
• Many, many thanks to all our volunteers for helping to pull off the premier fall invite in the Midwest! Swimmers from all teams performed well & we received dozens of compliments from parents & coaches from visiting teams.
