PAC made a strong statement at the first
meet of the year this last weekend scoring 4561 points (Bend was
second with 3295 and Hood River was third with
1974.5) at the Hood River Harvest of Gold Invitational in Hood
River, OR this past weekend. PAC entered nearly 90 swimmers
and most showed (though we did have quite a few down with the flu-
just like Bend did). At the meet PAC swimmers had nearly 270
best times and two PAC records were broken! One by 8 year
Sylvia Leeb- Haigh in the 50 back (39.35) and the other by 17 year
old Jessica Bottelberghe in the 500 Free (5:10.57). Way to
start the year swimmers, coaches and parents! Parents thank
you for timing and officiating this weekend (it was nice not to
hear PAC called out to cover a lane for timing- let’s keep
that going at every meet). Thanks to Wendy Fleming for the
great photos.
