 2009 King’s Bay Down Under Meet Recap

 

The Bolles Sharks travelled just north of the border to compete in the King’s Bay Down Under Invitational hosted by the Camden County Boomers. The Sharks finished in second place overall while several of our swimmers took home some hardware with high point honors. Ceder Crawford, Abi Wilder, and Amelia Hartje came away with runner-up high point for the 6 & Under, 10 & Under, and 1-12  girls divisions. Parker Andrews walked away with high point honors for the 11-12 boys.

 

Several of our swimmers were victorious in individual events throughout the weekend. Grace Crawford (8 & under 25 fly), Vincent Mancheno (8 & under 25 free), Daniel Sugishita (13-14 100free, 200Im and 100fly), Michael Fonteno (13-14 50 free and 100 breast), Meghan Haila (13-14 200 IM) , Amelia Hartje ( 50 -100 free, 100 IM and 50 breast) and Parker Andrews ( 50 fly, back, breast, and free, 100 IM).

 

Top six finishers in individual events were the following by age group: 6and under girls Ceder Crawford; 6 and under boys Jonathan Kats; 8 and under girls Grace Crawford; 8 and under boys Vincent Mancheno and Majed El Hassan; 10 and under girls Abi Wilder, Emily Rice, and Kensey McMahon;10 and boys Jake Adcock, Josh Rinosa, Andrew Sugishita, and Ryan Rabalais; 11-12 girls Amelia Hartje, Madison Michaels, Kasey Schmidt, Elizabeth Zubero and Sophia Ward;11-12 boys Parker Andrews, Izaak Butensky, and Max Michael; 13-14 girls Peyton Breault, Rebecca Crosby, Meghan Haila, and Maggie Roebuck; 13-14 boys Michael Fonteno and Daniel Sugishita.
