Swim-a-thon, Thursday Oct 22,
2009 Thank you to all the
parents that sign-ed up to help with the counting. I will
have your counting sheet and swimmers ready for you when you
arrive, just come see me. If you are unable to attend and
have pledges, talk to your coach about a make-up day.
Please be sure to collect all
pledge money and turn
it in by October 29th with your
packet, in order to receive your recognition prizes
on November 5th at
the South Shore Lanes out by LBCC. Important
bowling alley time change...we will now bowl from 4-6pm
with prizes and team thank you picture in the middle. We will
be confined to half of the facility, so let's give the kids first
dibs on the lanes. Parents you can order dinner there, and we
encourage that to support the donation of the facility ($500+
value). Obviously there will be no practice that
night.
November Invitational 6th (4pm warm-ups) and 7th +8th (12
unders warm-up 7:30am, 13 over 1pm
warm-ups) Please get online and
sign-up your swimmers (contact me if you have trouble - aaaswimming@aol.com and for volunteer hours
ASAP. Please sign-up
for 6 hours per-family and if you have any questions, please
contact Trudy Fields by email treasurer@albanyaquaticassoc.com. Although she
is our parent volunteer treasurer, she has volunteered to help Char
Robinson, our meet director, with the volunteer sign-ups and can
help you find a job that works for you.
Junior swim Practice time change during H.S.
Swimming - Yes it is that time of year
again. During high school swimming Nov 9th - Feb19th the
Juniors will start their workout at 5pm instead of 4pm. Mark
your calendars. Sherry, Jen and I will cover the practices
during that time.

Rex will be
sending out a winter break training schedule and Juniors will be
welcome to participate in some additional practices, especially on
Saturdays while school is on winter break.
