Pine Crest vs. Belen Jesuit

Pine Crest had the final home dual meet for the season last night as the boys team swam Belen Jesuit of Miami the 2A State Championship team for boys.  Since Belen is only a boys school there was no dual meet for the girls however we had a Green-White meet where the ladies swam against each other and had some fun relays. 

The boys had one of the most challenging meets of the season as Belen won every event and relay with exception of the 100 breast which was won by Michal Rokita and the diving which was won by Blake Anderson.  While our top line swimmers raced against the best from Belen it was our depth in many races and diving that provided the win for Pine Crest as the final score was Pine Crest 158- Belen Jesuit 148.

Since it was our final home meet we said "thank you" to our seniors who have done such a great job for Pine Crest for the past several years and we would like to wish them all the best as they move on to college next year.  So thank you to Blake Anderson, Jose Arrillaga, Robert Dowd, Erik Erton, Leon Legot, Ryan Pyle, Ryohei Takatsuchi, Cheyenne Allenby,  Nathalie Bijlsma, Siena DeVenuto, Jessica Kazmin, Megan Smith.
