Dear
Dolphin-Laser Friends and Families,
The
Arkansas Dolphin-Laser Swim Team needs your help to reach our 2010
financial goals. We want to offer your business the opportunity to
sponsor the team through a yearly banner donation. This donation to
the Dolphin-Laser Booster Association will help financially support
the team, which in turn will help us continue to reach our
goals.
The
goals of our team remain the same: to be a good person, to swim
fast and to have fun! Our priorities are academics, swimming
and a wholesome social life. These goals and priorities have
been followed by many of our swimmers over the years and as a
result they have become very successful in and out of the
water.
Presently our team has claimed the Arkansas state title for six
seasons in a row. We have athletes that made the Sectional, Junior
National, Senior National and the Olympic Trial time standards. We
also had 17 swimmers rank in the top 100 in the Nation, and over 21
State and LSC records were set this past year. Five of the Eight
Arkansas SC Age Group Swimmer of the Year positions went to our
swimmers. We have athletes that are involved in; Big Brother Big
Sister, tutoring, scouts, youth groups, volunteer coaching and
teaching. We encourage this aspect as well as academic
accomplishments of the well- rounded athletes life.
Our past
athletes are an important part of our team’s history; they
are leaders in the community, and leaders in business. We are in
constant contact, hearing of their successes all over the nation
and ways in which they are giving back to the swimming
community.
With
your yearly donation of $500, we will proudly hang a banner at the
University of Arkansas at the Little Rock Donaghey Aquatic Center
for the 2009/2010 season. The Banners will be in view by all
participants and patrons of the swim meets held at UALR (college,
USA Swimming, and high school meets). Students, facility staff, and
all members of the Donaghey Student Center will also view the
banner.
On Nov.
20-22, we will hold the annual Paul Blair Memorial Invitational at
the University of Arkansas at the Little Rock Donaghey Aquatic
Center. We would like to have your donation by Nov. 11 so that we
may hang your banner for this meet. However if you are unable to
meet this deadline, we will still hang your banner within three
weeks of receiving your donation.

your check to the Dolphin-Laser swim office, #1 Huntington Road,
Little Rock, AR. 72227.

would help us reach our goals.
