Congratulations on a great meet this past
weekend! Condor
Swimmers recorded the best-ever showing in the Fall Festival and
set multiple new team records to prove it. We are re-writing the record
books and our younger swimmers (who will be the older swimmers
someday) really stood out, showing our overall progress as a
team. The Condors
are currently ranked 71st in the nation according to USA
Swimming and this is after only two meets. We currently have 71 swimmers
qualified for the MIT meet (which is another record all by itself)
and will surely have more to come after the Sharks meet in 11
days. If your swimmer
has qualified for the MIT meet, please do your best to
attend. This is the
biggest meet for our swimmers this fall and an opportunity race
against some of the best age group swimmers in the northeast.
Remember: competition is what will make us better.
We want to thank all the parents who
volunteered and made the meet run so well. Every position was staffed
adequately and well organized. We were told by a number of
coaches that this event was the most competitive age group meet the
Condors have held and they will be returning again. We will host our next meet the
20-22 of November (Condors Age Group Open) so please plan on
continuing the great support that has helped us get to where we are
now!
