Introducing Coach Heidi
I am pleased to announce the hiring of Heidi Goetsch as a new
SWAT age group coach. Heidi will be assisting as needed with
all of the team's age group groups, especially Age Group Gold and
Age Group Silver.
Heidi has had extensive experience both as a swimmer and a
coach. As a athlete, she earned varsity letters and was the
captain of both her high school swim team and track & field
team. Heidi then moved on to become a four time letter winner
with the UW-Milwaukee women's swim team, held a UWM women's team
record and earned All-Horizon Conference Second Team honors.
At UWM she received the Athletic Academic Achievement Award
in 2008 & 2009.
Heidi is presently the Head Girls Coach for Franklin High
School. Last summer she was the Head Coach & Pool Manager
for North Shore Country Club in Mequon. Heidi served as an
assistant coach for WAM Swim Club in Grafton from 2005-2009.
She also led a Stroke Analysis Clinic for the Plymouth High
School boy's swim team last January & February.
Heidi is a 2008 graduate of UW-Milwaukee in Education.
Her major is History with a concentration on Geography &
Political Science. She student taught at Germantown HS &
Roosevelt Middle School of the Arts in Milwaukee. She is
currently subbing in the Franklin School District.
The entire staff is excited to have Heidi as a part of our
SWAT program. She will be a terrific addition to what I
already consider the best age group coaching staff in
Wisconsin.
Welcome Heidi:)
