Up and Coming PCST Stars Have Great
Showing at Wiregrass Invitational in
Dothan!
We may have only had 10 total swimmers in the Dothan meet over
the weekend, but they sure did a great job! The Tsunamis were
led by a couple of young swimmers in Hannah Retherford (2nd
overall) and Fallon
Gelsleichter (5th overall), who are quickly
becoming veterans of the team in their early years. Both
girls received high point trophies for their great overall scores
from the meet and were joined by two new PCST stars, Luke Ligas and Sarah Kate Paine in
their efforts to take home hardware!
Luke (10), only swam one day at the meet and still managed
to rack up enough points to finish 8th overall in the 10
& Under boys. Sarah Kate has been on the team for
over a year now and is quickly becoming one of our best young
Tsunami swimmers! She scored many points in the 8
& Under girls division to finish with a 6th place trophy
overall! Anytime 40% of your team comes away from a meet with
trophies, which means Coach Sarah must have gotten those kids fired
up!
That extra encouragement and individual attention from Coach
Sarah helped many of our new Tsunamis gain valuable
experience at the always popular Dothan Meet. Our
other 6 swimmers have only swum either a few meets or none at all
and they were incredible!! I would like to congratulate
these swimmers on their fantastic swims from the weekend.
There were many time drops, some new swimmers scoring points for
the team as well as all-around great efforts from
everyone. Way to go
