Stefan Hirniak and Blake Worsley will represent Team Canada in Fina World Cup

Swimming Canada is sending a team of 12 to compete in the Fina World Cup of Swimming in Europe that will be led by world record holder Brent Hayden of UBC. 

Island Swimming is very proud to announce that Blake Worsley and world record holder, Stefan Hirniak will be part of that team. They will be swimming alongside some of the best swimmers in the world including  Michael Phelps of the USA. The competitions will take place in Stockholm (SWE) Nov 10 & 11 and then in Berlin (Ger) Nov 14 & 15, 2009.
