US Swimming Feature
– NAG Recognition
Several CW swimmers made it into the 2008/2009 LCM
National Age Group Recognition Program (Top 10 by single
age).
Long Course: Claiming No. 1 times in the nation were
Adam Whitener, Jay Jin, Joshua Ehrman, David Boland in the 13-14
Boys 800Fr Rel (8:14.72) along with the 400Med Rel (4:08.85), and
the quartet was 3rd in the 400Fr
Rel (3:44.90). Matthew Orringer, Jack Walsh, Daniel Schorin, and
Kyp Papageorgiou were 8th in the Boys 11-12 400 Med Rel (4:49.36); Adam Whitener was 3rd in
the Boys 14YO 50 Fr (24.48) and 6th in
the 100 Fr (53.40); Caitlin Dauw was 4th in the
Girls 18YO 100Fl (1:00.06) and 7th in
the 200Fl (2:13.93).
Short Course: Claiming a No. 2 time in the nation
was Anna Demonte in the Girls 14YO 400 IM
(4:16.83) and 10th in the 100 Fl (55.38). Allison
Schmidt was 3rd in the Girls 18YO 200Fr (1:45.14) and 3rd in the
500 Fr (4:39.55). Adam Whitener was 5th in the Boys 14YO
100Fr (48.58).
